Thanksgiving Card

I recently made this card at a get togther at a neighboring church. I used a copy of an old postcard. I found this wonderful pale yellow ribbon that looked so good with the card and postcard. The postcard image covered most of the ribbon, so I trimmed out the bottom of the postcard to expose the more of the ribbon.

I stamped that same sentiment on the inside of the card as I did on the back of the envelope.

I THANK MY GOD EVERY TIME I REMEMBER YOU Philippians 1:3

It was a fairly simple card, but I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Are you ready for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving Praise

THANKS BE TO GOD

What an appropriate first blog for "The Rock", Paper, Scissors.

This is a photo of the sample for our October project at our monthly G! Group / Meetup meeting.

I have been looking at pennant banners for quite some time and I really love the idea for any season or event. The possibilities are endless.

I had fun playing with my Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Banner. I saw the die today on the Sizzix website for $8 - what a steal! The paper is Die Cuts With A View 12''x12'' Indian Summer Fall Stack. The paper stack has more than just the traditional orange and browns. I can't wait to try some other combinations. I think the lettering would show up better if it was darker. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Peace and blessings,
Donna
